The signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement between the UEH School of International Business - Marketing and Long Huei Vietnam Company Limited

In recent years, the UEH School of International Business - Marketing (SIBM) has cooperated with the business community to implement many practical training activities for the school’s students to develop comprehensively high-quality human resources. These activities have been improving the quality of teaching and research of the School towards sustainable development.
Towards strengthening cooperation and university-businesses linkage, on the morning of April 16, 2021, at room B1.204, School of International Business - Marketing, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) held a signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement between the School and Long Huei Vietnam Company Limited.

Attending the signing ceremony, on SIBM's side, there were Assoc.Prof.Dr. Bui Thanh Trang - Dean, Dr. Nguyen Thi Hong Thu, Dr. Hoang Cuu Long - Deputy Dean, and the school’s entire faculty. On the side of Long Huei Vietnam Co., Ltd, there was Mr. Billy Lien - Director of Sales Department and other sales and marketing staff of the company.
The cooperation agreement between the School of International Business - Marketing and Long Huei Vietnam Branch Co., Ltd. Aims to build a sustainable partnership, serving the common interests of research, teaching, and recruitment on both sides. Speaking at the signing ceremony, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Bui Thanh Trang affirmed: “Developing a long-term and sustainable cooperation between the School and businesses is one of the goals which are not only of the School of International Business - Marketing but also of the whole university to train high-quality human resources associated with the actual operations of the business. In recent years, the School has implemented semester programs of businesses, schools and businesses jointly train, help ing students develop comprehensively”.

Meanwhile, speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Billy Lien - Sales Director of Long Huei Vietnam Branch Co., Ltd., emphasized that: “Long Huei is one of the foreign companies that set market development goals in Vietnam, UEH is one of the leading universities in economic training in Vietnam, so the company is very pleased to be able to cooperate with the university and especially the School of International Business - Marketing to supporting the implementation of research projects, developing high-quality human resources, meeting the practical needs of enterprises. Some of Long Huei employees who graduated from the School of International Business - Marketing have adapted quickly and performed well-assigned jobs at Long Huei." Through the signing of cooperation, Long Huei hopes that more students of the School will join the business semester at the company and work as long-term employees at Long Huei.

In addition, the two units also discussed and prepared to implement a marketing research project, opening a chain of cooperation projects between the School and businesses to develop research activities in the coming time.

The signing ceremony between the School of International Business - Marketing and Long Huei Vietnam Branch Co., Ltd. ended successfully. It helps to strengthen the cooperative relationship between the two units and contribute to many further cooperation activities in training and research.

Long Huei Co., Ltd was established in 1988, specializing in manufacturing and trading helmets for motorcycles and motorbikes with the famous brand: Andes. The company has a worldwide consumption market with its head office located in Taiwan.
